Regional Secretaries
The Regional Secretary network offers additional support to our members in their regions. The team of dedicated volunteers who have all experienced scoliosis themselves, or through a child or family member, are available to contact for further advice and can link together members with similar experiences in similar locations. The Regional Secretaries not only play a great part in SAUK and its
membership, but also raise awareness of
scoliosis in their local communities.

Pierre Bernard, exceptionally active Regional Secretary for Scotland says: "I decided to become a Regional Secretary as my daughter and wife both have scoliosis and I wanted to help raise the profile of SAUK in Scotland and help fundraise." Pierre is competing in the Great Scottish Run in 2010 and regularly gets media coverage and gives talks in schools on scoliosis.
