Sheffield meeting 8 September 2001

SAUK Northern Regional Meeting took place this year at the Children's Hospital in Sheffield on Saturday 8 September. It was hosted by Mr David Douglas, FRCS, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.

The talks given by Mr Ashley Cole, FRCS, on Clinical Assessment of Scoliosis, Mr Neil Chiverton, FRCS, on Surface Shape and Effect of Surgery, and Mr Andrew Mills, MBAPO, on SpineCor bracing were informative and much appreciated by those present. The atmosphere at the meeting was informal and very friendly. Members seemed to find it easy to get together, chat, and exchange ideas.

SAUK is most grateful to Mr Douglas, FRCS, and all the speakers for giving so much of their weekend time to make the meeting such a successful and enjoyable event.
