Internship at SAUK

Are you looking for work experience in the charitable sector?  Are you considering a career change or need vital experience after university?

SAUK is looking for someone to join the team for a 3 month internship in the office, starting in January.  We are looking for an individual who is keen to get experience working in a small charity, who is bright and enthusiastic, and who is a strategic thinker, numerate and literate and also has confidence in using basic PC applications. You will need to be a good communicator and be able to take the initiative in carrying out work and supporting the team, our members, and the users of our services.

Your responsibilities will include answering the phone, helping to research and compile information for the General Manager, supporting the Communications Manager in her role, monitoring SAUK’s social networks, and getting involved with meeting planning and fundraising as necessary.

The role on offer is 2-3 days a week, and we may be able to offer a stipend to the right candidate.
