The SAUK Ereisma Garden
Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2003

The SAUK Ereisma Garden is the brainchild of Stephanie Willcox and Carol Richards. Ereisma is a Greek word meaning support and standing together. The garden is designed in four areas as a symbolic representation of the aims of SAUK:

  1. To provide support and reassurance for adolescents.
  2. To inform and contact parents.
  3. To help older people with pain.
  4. To raise public awareness of the importance of early detection of the condition in children.

The garden incorporates:

bulletThe SAUK logo - a bent and supported tree
bulletA curved 'spine' supporting plants
bulletPlants needing support to thrive
bulletHealing plants
