SAUK Saplings
In 2005, Lara Varga was appointed Youth Arts Development Officer to SAUK and obtained part funding from the Arts Council to deliver art workshops for SAUK member’s age 5-19 years. The series of events were held at the Tate Modern in London and at the Leeds Art Gallery. Lara and Trevor Sylvester, SAUK’s volunteer graphic designer, also produced a Creative Arts newsletter. This arts supplement was sent out to all young SAUK members.
